Audrey and I are going to go and cut down a real christmas tree this afternoon.
We got a permit from the forest service, and as i understand it, we just go find one we
want and chop it down and haul it home. It will be my first real tree if my memory serves
me correctly. So i'm excited about getting to pick it out and cut it down.
I'll put up pics when we get back.

After Christmas, set it outside and let it dry. When it gets nice and dry, light it up. You will be very pleased with the results. Trust me.
We used to do that all the time in Washington. It was so much fun to hike around in the woods and then to find a tree with a personality all its own! We picked one with a whole section of the trunk with no branches in the middle! Haha! Good memories!
